The Foundation: It’s the starting point for a new house, so it’s especially important to us to use time-tested methods to build you the best home we can. We start with a monolithically poured slab of concrete and pair it with a cable system to form a support structure for your entire house. Adopted from commercial building, this post-tensioned foundation system is applied to every home we build and secures your home from the ground up.
Energy Star Label:
All our homes are Energy Star certified and feature the systems needed to keep your home quiet, comfortable and affordable. To achieve this certification, our homes are randomly tested by independent inspectors. They check the integrity of the energy efficient features we offer, including:

This testing ensures your home is energy efficient beyond the standard building codes. And because our homes are Energy Star certified, they use 30% less energy.
Insulation:
All exterior wall insulation features the Blown-in-Blanket System (BIBS), a premium insulation system suitable for all new homes. It works by filling gaps and voids to promote thermal efficiency. This system also reduces air infiltration in the wall, providing an energy efficient and draft free environment.
Low-E Windows:
Low-E Windows help make your new home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. They allow natural visible light to enter your home yet reduce UV rays, which can fade furniture, carpets and drapes.
Air Conditioning and Fresh-Air Intake Systems:
Our homes feature 13 S.E.E.R. or greater air conditioning systems, fresh-air intake systems, jump ducts and programmable thermostats. All of this to even temperatures, improve indoor air quality, reduce indoor humidity and let air flow freely from room to room.
